The UK Pinball Show was the host for the European Pinball Championship 2009.
On Friday 24th July 2009, the UK Pinball Show opened at Franklin Gardens, Northampton and the European Pinball Championship 2009 began. Over 150 of the world's top players from 16 countries competed on 18 machines for the chance to be crowned European Champion on Sunday afternoon. At the same time, the EPC Country Competition began with 20 teams of 4 players battling it out throughout Friday evening and into Saturday morning to uphold national pride and prove they are the best team. To see who won, click on the Country Competition logo above or the tab on the left.
Saturday and Sunday also featured high score competitions for kids aged 14 and under. With trophies and medals up for grabs each day, click on the Kids Tournament tab to see who triumphed in the search to find the pinball wizards of tomorrow.
The fourth tournament of the weekend was held on Sunday and featured a mixture of electro-mechanical and solid-state pinball machines from the '60s, 70s and '80s.
